About Me
I'm Brittany. My own path to wellness, personal fulfillment, and joy has been one fraught with anxiety, depression, guilt, and harmful self-criticism. My goal is to help others traveling that same path to be more gentle with themselves, embrace their unique process, and enjoy the moment.

Throughout my myriad career and educational pursuits, I've obtained graduate degrees in creative writing and design for the built environment - as well as a 200-Hr yoga teacher training certification. I worked in higher education for 6 years before going back to school when I turned 30 to find a more creative, fulfilling career path. During that time, I stumbled upon the wellness industry and have been contracting in concept and design work for spas, hotels, and residential developments.

Greatly influenced by my Aquarian mother, I've always had an interest in holistic lifestyle practices and natural healing modalities. This is complimented by a deep appreciation for the scientific research that is currently being done in the name of wellness on herbal medicine, the microbiome, gemstone healing, hydrotherapy, and more. It's an electric, revolutionary time in the global wellness industry, and if your quest for knowledge or optimal health has brought you here, please don't hesitate to reach out and become a part of the conversation.

Driftwood's Symbolism

IV.
I. Ailm. Trees were important symbols of strength and perseverance to ancient Celts. The Ailm symbol is derived from the ancient Celtic alphabet and is thought to represent a type of coniferous tree, perhaps a silver fir. Evergreen fir trees were associated with the healing of a person's inner soul.

II. The alchemical symbol for water, which has long been associated with healing, life, purification, and the subconscious.

III. The alchemical symbol for wood, signifying strength, resilience, the importance of growth, and the cycles of life.

IV. Triskelion. Also known as Triskele, this is another ancient Celtic (Irish) symbol thought to be over 5,000 years old. The spiral was an important symbol to ancient Celts and is one of the oldest, most primitive symbols on earth, representing the sun or radiant ethereal energy. Giving the appearance of eternal movement, the Triskelion is a symbol of strength and progress.
